
ECI backs rhubarb MBO
ECI Partners has backed the MBO of luxury catering brand rhubarb, investing £12m in exchange for a minority stake.
The GP has committed to the provision of additional development capital.
Company
Founded in 1996 and based in London, rhubarb provides catering services for events, travel and iconic venues. The firm counts the Royal Albert Hall, Saatchi Gallery and Royal Ascot among its clients, alongside international airlines including American Airlines and BAA.
The firm's revenues have quadrupled over the last seven years, reaching £32m.
