
ECI Partners takes minority stake in Clarke Energy
ECI Partners has invested in British energy solutions company Clarke Energy.
The new equity will help the business to continue growing internationally.

Clarke Energy is a Knowsley-based energy solutions business, distributing and installing GE Jenbacher gas engines. The engines run on natural gas, waste gases from mining and gas from renewable sources like sewage and landfill.
In the year ending 31 October 2011, the company generated £201m in turnover. It employs 700 people worldwide, with locations in the UK, France, India, Ireland, Australia, Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria and New Zealand.
Among Clarke Energy's customers are the Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital, The Shard and King's Cross Development.
People
Director John Hayhurst led the deal on behalf of ECI and will join Clarke Energy's board in a non-executive position. Chairman Jim Clarke, CEO Jamie Clarke and CFO Peter Holliday led Clarke's existing management team.
