
HgCapital promotes two to partner and makes two senior hires

HgCapital has promoted Amanda Good (pictured above) and Sebastien Briens to partner and recruited two new senior members to its investment teams in Munich and London.
Good works on HgCapital's portfolio projects team in London and has been promoted from director. She joined HgCapital from Bain & Company in 2013, leaving her role as partner after 14 years with the firm.

Briens also works in HgCapital's London office and is promoted from director on the GP's telecommunications, media and technology (TMT) team. He joined the firm in 2011 from Quadrangle group, where he was vice-president, having previously spent two years at Bain & Company.
Since joining HgCapital, Briens has worked on transactions including Intelliflo, Sequel Business Solutions and Trace One.
In addition to the partner promotions, HgCapital has also hired Advent International's Florian Wolff as a director in its Munich office and KKR's Enrico Grasso for its London-based TMT team, in an as yet undisclosed position.
Wolff joins from his role as director at Advent after seven years with the firm, having previously had stints at McKinsey & Company.
Grasso spent eight year at KKR and leaves his position as director. Prior to joining KKR he worked at Merrill Lynch Private Equity and Goldman Sachs.
