Amala hires ex-Altius exec Keogh

Christina Keogh, former executive at Altius Associates, has taken up a marketing role with placement firm Amala Partners.
At Altius, Keogh was a senior associate focusing on global cross-sector fund investment in Europe and the emerging markets. After five years with the firm, she left Altius in May 2012 in order to develop her family's potato crisps business as well as her husband's gin distillery.
Amala is led by Ian Simpson, a co-founder of Helix Associates, and Simone Brands, who has recently been promoted to partner within the firm. Amala's current and historical mandates include August Equity Partners, Piper Private Equity and Quadriga Capital.
