FRANCE - Charterhouse buys Vivarte from PAI for EUR 3.5bn

In February 2004, PAI partners acquired 54% of Vivarte, the manager of Kookai, La Halle, Minelli and Caroll, in a deal which valued the company around EUR 1.5bn. The fund then delisted the company following an offer on the remainder of its shares.

The group distributes clothing and accesories from 2,566 retail points, including 1,800 fully-owned shops.
