Innova to acquire majority stake in CS Group Polska
Innova Capital has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Polish online marketing group CS Group Polska.
Innova is currently deploying capital from Innova/6, which held a first close on €194m towards its €325m hard-cap last year. The fund typically invests in businesses with enterprise values of up to €25m, according to Unquote Data.
The deal is the fourth transaction to be made from the vehicle and follows the acquisition of a majority stake in Sady-based printing company Chemes from Abris Capital Partners in April this year.
Under its new owners, CS Group will invest in product development and the expansion of its range of services. The GP is also pursuing consolidation of the region's web marketing sector, according to a statement.
The company's current shareholders will retain a minority stake in the business, in addition to continuing as managers and board members.
The transaction is subject to approval from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.
