Project A Ventures backs ZenGuard in seed round
Incubator Project A Ventures has backed German internet security solutions provider ZenGuard in a six-figure seed round.
The fresh capital will be used to enhance ZenGuard's technology, develop new products and expand the team.
A consortium of business angels, such as David Khalil, Philipp Kreibohm and Robert Maier, also backed ZenGuard alongside Project A.
Project A recently received a €30m commitment from media company Axel Springer, with Springer becoming the second largest investor in the incubator.

ZenGuard's maiden product is browser add-on ZenMate. ZenMate offers to redirect internet activity via its own cloud-based solution, which then encrypts and accelerates internet activity.
The firm was founded in 2013 in Manchester, but has since moved to Berlin.
