Greycroft backs Splash's $2.5m round
German virtual reality startup Splash has raised a $2.5m round from Greycroft Ventures and other investors.
Additional participants in the round were media and entertainment-focused VC Advancit; London-based Felix Capital; Bertelsmann's BDMI; Tokyo-based listed VC DeNA; Seedcamp; business angel Kevin Wall; and E.Ventures.
In March, Splash won the founder prize at annual culture festival South by Southwest, which takes place in Austin, Texas.

Founded in 2015 and based in Berlin, Splash provides a mobile application that enables users to share videos and photos in 360° viewing without any need for additional editing.
