TGFS backs IT security business Rhebo
Technologiegründerfonds Sachsen (TGFS) and eCapital have backed German data protection technology Rhebo with an undisclosed sum.
Rhebo is the third business started by the founding team. CEO Klaus Mochalski, CTO Martin Menschner and business developer Frank Stummer previously co-founded Adyton Systems, which is also an IT security business, and Ipoque, an application awareness software.
eCapital invested via its fourth fund, which started fundraising in January this year with a €100m target. Rhebo is the fourth investment for the vehicle, which aims to invest in up to 15 companies.
TGFS, which exclusively focuses on startups in Saxony, ramped up its fund from €60m to €124m in March this year.
