HTGF and Seedfonds BW back Compositence
HTGF and Seedfonds Baden-Württemberg have invested an undisclosed amount in technology company Compositence.
Seedfonds BW was attracted to the company due to its lightweight construction technology, which the investor believes is an attractive future market. It also believes in the clearly defined customer benefit of the products and the outlook for the company's development. HTGF was convinced by the application potential.
The funds will be used for the company's industrial applications, as the firm is planning to start series production.
Company
Compositence emerged from a spin-off of the University of Stuttgart. It provides applications for carbon-fibre components. Its services are based on a robot-guided laying head for deposition silvers of fibre, which reduces the amount of manual work required, as well as reducing costs and production time.
