
S-Refit et al. close finance round for Lophius
Venture capital firms S-Refit, High-Tech Gründerfonds and Bayernkapital have closed a €1.4m financing round for diagnostic test systems developer Lophius Biosciences.
All parties have previously invested in the firm. The capital will be used for market introduction of the T-Track CMV/EBV test applied in the field of transplantation, further development of a diagnostic test for the differential diagnosis of tuberculosis and development of a blood-based multiple sclerosis test.
The investor was attracted to the company as it has quickly developed from an academic researcher into a small diagnostics company.
