
Balderton leads $10m series-A for Funnel
UK-based venture firm Balderton Capital has led a $10m series-A round for Sweden-headquartered online marketing platform Funnel.
Funnel intends to use the fresh capital to expand its advertising and marketing products in the US and Europe. The firm opened its Boston office in 2016.
Balderton general partner Suranga Chandratillake will join the board of the company as part of the deal.
Existing investors in Funnel include Industrifonden and Zobito.
Company
Funnel operates from Boston and Stockholm and employs 32 staff. Its advertising and marketing platform acquires and compiles consumer data for businesses. The company has a partnership with Google BigQuery.
