Armada Interactive raises $3m from Initial Capital et al.

Index Ventures, ProFounders Capital, Backed, Reaktor Ventures, Sisu Game Ventures and competitor Next Games also participated in the round, as well as business angels Chris Lee, Reynir Hardarson and Ben Feder.

The capital will be used to develop the company's first mobile gaming product.

Operating out of London and Silicon Valley, Initial Capital invests in seed and early-stage technology companies with a focus on games, consumer services and technology enablers.

Founded in 2015 and based in Helsinki, Armada Interactive is a 20-person strong mobile gaming company based in Helsinki. It develops AAA, freemium and real-time multiplayer games.
