Inflexion hires Harper from LDC
LDC’s John Harper will join Stuart Robinson as new investment directors at Inflexion Private Equity.
Harper's appointment to Inflexion's buyout team, marks the third high-profile employee exit from LDC since April. His move follows in the wake of Daniel Sasaki, head of the firm's London office, who left in June, just two months after CEO Darryl Eales had stepped down.
Inflexion's new investment director has more than 20 years' experience in private equity, having previously been at Duke Street and Montagu Private Equity, before his position at LDC. Notable deals he has worked on include Wagamama, Sporting Index, and Simple Skincare, among others.
Inflexion has also appointed Stuart Robinson as investment director in its Partnership Capital team. Robinson was most recently managing director at Levine Leichtman Capital Partners' London office, and has previously been a partner at 3i.
Inflexion's Partnership Capital is a newly created business, targeting minority stake investments in the mid-market. The business will look to invest between £15-75m across equity and structured transactions. The team is led by David Whileman, who joined the firm last year.
