Passion Capital in £1.5m round for Prowler.io
Passion Capital, Amadeus Capital and Singapore's Infocomm Investments have provided a £1.5m seed round for British artificial intelligence startup Prowler.io.
The funding will be used to build a prototype version of Prowler.io's platform. Initially the company will target games developers with its product, with other sectors to follow.
Passion said in a statement it invested in the startup because of the large number of possible areas of use. The London-based VC raised £45m for its second fund in 2015, including a £17.5m commitment from the British Business Bank.
