Capvis partner to join Bregal as head of Switzerland

Simon Lussi, a partner with Swiss private equity firm Capvis, has left the company to join Bregal Unternehmerkapital as Head of Switzerland, two sources familiar with the move told Mergermarket.
The former partner had been with Capvis since January 2015 and was promoted to partner in April 2021.
Lussi worked on transactions such as the acquisition of Germany-based digitalisation and SAP consultancy AdEx, which Capvis bought from its founders in October 2022, as well as the acquisition of Swiss software firm BSI Business Systems Integration in August 2020.
BSI currently has a Likely-to-Exit (LTE) score of 55 out of 100, driven primarily by the duration of the sponsor’s holding period.
Another individual is due to leave Capvis and join Bregal in the coming weeks, a third source said.
Simon Lussi and Bregal declined to comment. Capvis did not respond to requests for comment.
