Gilde IT Fund
Gilde IT Fund has announced it has appointed two new partners: Lars Lindell and Alexander Lewald . Lindell has joined Gilde IT Fund as director and partner. Lindell was previously with nCoTec Venture where he was a director and co-founder. Prior to that he was vice president at Salomon Smith Barney where he was responsible for research coverage of the telecommunications equipment sector. Lindell began his career at LM Ericsson in 1989 and held positions in Japan, the UK and Mexico where he was a director responsible for wireless infrastructure equipment sales. Leewald has joined the firm also as partner and director. He joins the firm from Kappa IT Ventures where he was managing director. Recently he was a board member of three of the Kappa portfolio companies, namely Tridion NV, Fenestrae NV and WireCard AG. Prior to that he was senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Co, where he worked with several technology companies in the areas of telecommunications and information technology. Lewald began his career in engineering and research at Siemens AG and the German Research Establishment for Aerospace, focusing on building software platforms.
