Waterland

On 1 January 2005, Theo Dilissen joined the advisory board of Waterland Private Equity Investments. He will work alongside current board members Niek Hoek, CEO of the Delta Lloyd insurance group, and Charles Nicholson, former director and one of the founders of the UK-based private equity group, Cinven. Dilissen is chairman of the board of telecoms group Belgacom. From 2000-2004 he was active with the Euronext quoted ICT services company Real Software, and became the company's CEO from 2001. Previously, he was employed by ISS, a quoted company, rising to COO and member of the board in a span of 10 years. Dilissen is also a member of the board of VOKA, the Flemish employers association, and of UZA, Antwerp University Hospital.
