
Pension fund continues to outsource
Stichting Pensioenfonds Medewerkers Apotheken, which has DFl 1.4bn in assets, is considering investing in 2002, 5% of its 40% allocation to equity, in private equity funds-of-funds. The industry-wide fund for pharmacists in the Netherlands will look to invest in private equity funds-of-funds on diversification grounds. The fund also wants to invest in vehicles that guarantee an absolute return.
