Polyconcept
BC Partners has sold its majority stake in Polyconcept to Investcorp. No financial details have been disclosed, although reports suggest the value to be around E440m. The deal closed at the end of May 2005. Raymond Svider, Denis Villafranca and Jerome Michiels worked on the exit for BC Partners. Svider stated that the company managed to grow substantially, improve its competitive position and gain market share during their partnership.Roelofarendsveen-based Polyconcept is the European market leader in the development and distribution of promotional, lifestyle and gift products. It employs 1,000 staff and registered sales in 2004 of E365m.
Previous funding
BC Partners, together with Polyconcept's management, originally acquired the company from Dutch-listed conglomerate Hagemeyer in July 2000. Svider structured the deal for BC Partners, which took a majority stake in the company, the management holding the balance. No further details were disclosed.Latest News
