Halder negotiating sale of FCS Cont
An agreement, announced by GIMV on 6 July 2005, has been signed that could lead to the sale of its stake in FCS Control Systems to New York Stock Exchange-listed Moog Inc. GIMV's Dutch subsidiary Halder owns the holding. The original investment occurred in late 2002, when Halder supported the expansion of FCS and acquired a 25% shareholding in the Schipol-based company.FCS is a designer and manufacturer of high-fidelity electromechanical and electro hydraulic flight and vehicle simulation equipment, and structural test systems that are supplied to the aerospace and automotive markets. It registered annual sales of E20m in 2004 and employs around 100 staff.Following this announcement, all parties involved have decided not to communicate any further details until the final outcome of the current negotiations, expected in August 2005.
