UniXS Solutions

UniXS, a provider of mobile data solutions, has attracted EUR 2.1m in a second round of financing from ABN AMRO Corporate Investments and Residex. This latest round of financing takes the total invested in UniXS Solutions to EUR 8.5m. ABN AMRO first invested in UniXS Solutions in mid-2000, injecting EUR 4m in return for a minority stake.

Company

UniXS Solutions is active in the financial and healthcare sectors and is currently preparing to enter the field services market. In the financial sector the company sells a product that enables customers to manage their investment portfolio both via the internet and via mobile equipment. For the healthcare sector UniXS has developed mobile applications for home care, general practitioners, electronic patient files and telebiometry. UniXS will use the additional resources to expand further its position in the financial services, healthcare and field services market. UniXS is based in Schipol.

Vikram Pant led the investment for ABN AMRO Corporate Investments. The board of UniXS is manned by CEO Jan van de Kraats, president Guus Jansen, CFO Marc Jurgens, Peter de Pater, Evert Kroll, Jeroen Mulder, Hans de Bruin and Jan van Ingen.
