NIB Capital opens up accounts for third party investors
In addition to the firm’s launch of its debut fund-of-funds, NIB Capital (NIBC) is offering to manage accounts on behalf of investors. NIBC will recommend partnerships, monitor portfolio performance and manage distributions. As Volkert Doeksen (CEO of NIBC) comments: ‘By offering these services we hope to be able to cater to the specific needs of larger institutions, in particular, throughout the world. Investors may include experienced parties who want to outsource a specific part of their programme, but we expect particular interest from new entrants in the market who want to gain rapid, though controlled, exposure to the complex private equity markets. Provided a mandate has sufficient mass, we are fully flexible as to design and will implement any structure a client may desire, whether it concerns a dedicated European mid-market fund investment mandate, a fund investment programme focusing on the Far East, or, for instance, a US co-investment programme’.
