Gilde IT Fund
Gilde IT Fund has confirmed that Alexander Lewald is joining the firm as a director and partner. He joins from Kappa IT Ventures, the high growth information technology investor, where he was managing director. Previously, Lewald was senior engagement manager at McKinsey & Co, where he worked with several technology companies in the areas of telecommunication and information technology. Lewald started his career in engineering and research at Siemens AG and the German Research Establishment for Aerospace (DLR), focusing on building software platforms. He holds a PhD. in Mechanical Engineering from Ruhruniversität Bochum, Germany and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Munich, Germany.
