Waterland
Wim Haring has been promoted to investment director at Waterland Private Equity Investments. As an investment manager with the firm, he shared responsibility for the funeral services, receivables management and care/retirement homes sectors. Previously, he was CFO of Delta Dailyfood (DDF) where it was his responsibility to restructure and reposition DDF, including M&A activities. In prior jobs he held assignments as CFO and as (group) controller with Hollandse Beton Groep (construction) and Wessanen (fast moving consumer goods). Haring holds a masters in business administration from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He is also a registered controller and a registered valuator.As well as Haring, Lex Douze has been promoted to principal. As investment director with the firm, he shared responsibility for the Waterland investments in a. o. Adventure Travel, Financial Staffing and mobile SMS Services. Previously, he was founder and manager/shareholder in PaperX Ltd. Earlier in his career, he was strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group where he has done various European strategy studies in the airline and financial services industries. Douze obtained an MBA degree at Harvard Business School, and graduated in computer science and law at Erasmus Univeristy.
