NIB looks to Deutsche Bank’s private equity portfolio
NIB Capital Private Equity is reported to be considering a bid for certain companies in Deutsche Bank AG portfolio. The news comes in the wake of the announcement during the summer by Deutsche Bank’s CEO Josef Ackermann that the group was looking to reduce its exposure to private equity. Media reports estimate the entire portfolio to be around $6bn in value and the parts for sale to be worth approximately $3bn.
