Post Danmark and CVC to by half of
Reports suggest that the Belgian government has entered into talks to sell nearly 50% of its postal service. Post Danmark and CVC Capital Partners, which owns 22% of the Danish company, are believed to have signed a memorandum of understanding with the state, with official announcements to be made around September. The Belgian government was seeking a strategic partner to modernise the postal service, believing that the strong operational expertise of Post Danmark made it an ideal partner.
