CSM continues divestment plan
According to Dutch press reports, Accent Equity Partners has agreed to buy the BakeMark Sweden division of Dutch food group CSM for around E8.75m. This follows the companies recent divestment of its sugar and confectionary division, now known as Leaf, to CVC and Nordic Capital for around E850m. It also continues the current Benelux trend of large corporates divesting to concentrate on their core activities, with private equity bidders more than happy to take up the opportunities.
