ABN AMRO
In response to the surge in demand for leveraged buyout financing and whole business securitisations, ABN AMRO has made a number of personnel appointments. Wieland Janessens has joined the firm as managing director in the financial services sponsors group, from Schroder Salomon Smith Barney, where he held a similar role. The group has also recruited three executives in the bank's financial markets business. Oleg Pankratov and Steve Jones join as executive directors from JP Morgan's corporate securitisation and leveraged finance teams respectively and Arjan van Rijn joins as a director from the leveraged finance syndicate at Deutsche Bank.
