NPM Capital announces record profits
2001 proved to be a highly successful year for NPM Capital, which has announced profits after tax for the year amounting to EUR 157m, a 24% increase on 2000. Investments amounted to EUR 203m. Of these, EUR 107m was invested in 22 new investments, EUR 77m in existing investments and EUR 19m in subsidiaries and stocks. NPM Capital currently invests in 185 companies. Of the total amount invested, EUR 54m was invested in development capital, EUR 109m in buyouts and EUR 21m in early-stage, high-tech and life sciences companies.
