
IR partner Caroline Huyskes-van Doorne leaves Egeria
Partner Carolyne Huyskes-van Doorne, who joined Dutch private equity firm Egeria in 2003, has left the firm.
While Egeria confirmed the partner had left the firm, the GP declined to make further
comments on her departure when contacted by unquote".
Huyskes-van Doorne had joined Egeria in November 2003 as a fund director responsible for back office, investor relations and external communication, and set up Egeria Private Equity Fund II.
She first began her career as an associate with the corporate finance and capital markets division of MeesPierson. She then went on to work in the structured finance division of ABN Amro Bank in South Africa, where she was involved in export and project finance transactions and was an account manager for several international companies.
Between 1997-2002, she also worked at Van Lanschot Bankiers, where she headed the corporate office department overlooking corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market transactions.
At Egeria, Huyskes-van Doorne also led the fundraising for Egeria's fourth buyout fund, Egeria Private Equity Fund IV, which closed on its €600m hard-cap in 2012.
