
Apax France hires Onno Sloterdijk
Apax France has appointed Sloterdijk as senior adviser to foster opportunities in the Dutch market.
Sloterdijk will help reinforce the investor's presence in the Netherlands while identifying high potential SMEs in Apax's sectors of specialisation.
Sloterdijk was previously a Partner at KPMG Corporate Finance from 1992-2015, responsible for private equity activity.
The GP has currently no facilities in the region. According to unquote" data, Apax has completed only one transaction in Benelux – the Dutch fire safety company SK FireSafety Group was bought in 2014.
As recently reported by unquote", pan-European GPs are showing a renewed interest in the Dutch market, most notably Argos Soditic and Gimv, as the former completed its first Dutch deal in January 2018 and the latter launched its offices in Amsterdam in April 2017.
