
Ergon hires healthcare specialist Götz
Ergon Capital Partners has hired healthcare specialist and entrepreneur Oliver Götz to its board of senior advisers.
Götz will join a group of senior advisers with experience in the sectors in which Ergon invests, who will meet on a regular basis to review the GP's investment strategy and support the management team.
Götz is currently CEO of his own holding and investment company, LabVenture, which invests in healthcare and IT companies. In 1998 he founded LabNet alongside financial investors Bridgepoint and Atlas Venture, and he has since founded Lab Partners, which manages around 100 hospital laboratories in Germany.
Ergon makes equity investments of between €25-75m in companies in the luxury, speciality retail, industrial manufacturing and services, healthcare, media, leisure and gastronomy sectors, located in Benelux, France, Germany, Italy, Iberia and Switzerland.
