Silverfleet appoints co-head of Benelux region

Buy-and-build specialist Silverfleet Capital has recruited Erik Fuchs to co-head its activities in the Benelux region.
Fuchs will be based in Amsterdam, working alongside Adrian Yurkwich to lead the firm's investments in the region. He previously worked with Alpha Private Equity between 2015-2017 after a career in corporate finance with Rabobank, Lazard and ABN Amro.
Although the firm has not completed a platform deal in the region for some time, according to Unquote Data, it generated a 6.2x gross money multiple and 57% gross IRR on its investment in Dutch business services company TMF, which it acquired in 2004 and sold to Doughty Hanson in 2008.
Silverfleet has also confirmed the appointment of Alex Brebbia as a partner in London and co-head of lower-mid-market investing. The GP held a first close on €110m for its dedicated lower-mid-market vehicle Silverfleet European Development Fund earlier this year.
