3i announces eight hires and three promotions

3i has announced the appointment of Sander Ruijter as director in its Benelux team, as well as seven associate hires and three promotions in its offices across North America and Europe.

Ruijter joins the private equity team from Gate Invest, a Netherlands-based private equity firm that he co-founded in 2016. He previously worked in the Benelux advisory team at Rothschild in London from 2006 to 2016.

The firm has also hired associates Stephan Duwe and Kristina Wiren in Frankfurt, Juliette Grognet in Paris, Charlie Kickham in London, and Stephanie Handley, Connor Rossner and Jerin Thomas in New York.

The private equity business has also promoted Rowena Gracey in London, Nikjil Patel in New York, and Bastiaan Peer in Amsterdam to the position of director.
