
Triton opens office in Amsterdam, makes new hire

Triton Partners has opened an office in Amsterdam and hired Koos van de Linde to support its investment activity in the Benelux region.
Van de Linde is an investment advisory professional. He joins from Bain Capital, where he acted as a vice-president in London, focusing on transactions in the Benelux region in the industrial, consumer and retail sectors. Prior to that, van de Linde acted as an associate in private equity for HAL Investments in Rotterdam, overseeing multiple acquisitions and divestments.
Triton has a number of investments in the region, including online tour operator Sunweb, and industrial technology and process management company Unica.
The firm now operates 10 offices in Europe, as well as an office in New York and one in Shanghai.
Triton's most recent fund, The Triton Fund V, closed on its hard-cap of €5bn in January 2019 and focuses on northern Europe.
