Mentha Capital to buy Van Vulpen
Dutch GP Mentha Capital is seeking approval from the Dutch competition authority, Autoriteit Consument & Markt, for the acquisition of Netherlands-based contractor Van Vulpen.
Mentha is currently investing via its Mentha Capital V fund, which closed on €143m in 2017. The fund typically provides equity tickets of €5-25m.
The GP had not replied to a request for comment at the time of publication.
Van Vulpen had a turnover of more than €70m with a €13.7m EBITDA last year, according to a report by Dutch daily Het Financieele Dagblad.
Founded in 1966, Van Vulpen specialises in underground cable and tube networks, used to transport gas, electricity and water. The company employs around 450 staff and is based in Gorinchem.
