Kempen appoints Willigers
Kempen Capital Management has appointed Jorrit Willigers as a director in the firm's private markets team.
The appointment is effective as of 1 March 2021.
Willigers will focus on the private equity arm of the private markets strategy. He joins from Generali Group, where he was head of private equity portfolio construction. Willigers has prior experience as an investment manager with Gilde Equity Management, as well as in corporate finance roles at KPMG and Deloitte.
Kempen Private Markets Fund held an interim close in Q3 2019 on €123m. The fund typically writes equity tickets of €5m, investing in funds across private equity, infrastructure, land and real estate, according to Unquote Data.
