Sun European acquires Maxeda departments

The acquisition follows reports earlier in the year that KKR, Cinven, AplInvest and Permira, the owners of Maxeda, were looking to sell the departments.

The private equity consortium acquired Maxeda in 2004. In 2009 the company recorded a turnover of €1.7bn.
