3i sale of Hyva enters second round
3i’s sale of Dutch hydraulic cylinder producer Hyva has entered the second round, with private equity firms and trade buyers among the bidders, according to reports.
It is believed that Permira, Carlyle Group and Asian buyout firm Unitas Capital are among the bidders. 3i acquired the company in a €125m buyout in 2004.
Credit Suisse is running the auction for the company, which is expected to fetch a price tag of €500m.
