Friesland Bank Investments acquires Brakel
The investment arm of Friesland Bank, Friesland Bank Investments, has acquired Brakel Interieurgroep together with the management from building material supplier CRH.
The vendor says the interior group no longer fits into the company's strategy and therefore announced the upcoming sale in 2009.
Brakel Interieurgroep was founded in 1945 and is based in Hilversum, the Netherlands. The company operates in the Dutch, Caribbean and international markets and is a specialist in interior production and installation.
The Brakel Group has a turnover of €45m and employs about 320 members of staff. The group consists of Brakel Atmos and Brakel Aluminium in the Netherlands, Brakel Aero in Belgium and Airvent Systems in the UK.
