GEM Benelux holds first and final €200m close of second fund
Gilde Equity Management (GEM) Benelux has reached the first and final close of its new fund, GEM Benelux II, at its hard cap of €200m.
GEM Benelux II will continue to maintain the firm's investment strategy and invest in smaller mid-market buyout transactions in the Benelux region, where GEM Benelux has been investing since its inception in the mid 1990s.
The vehicle has received commitments from 13 institutional investors, including a large number of existing GEM Benelux I backers as well as a select group of new investors.
