Reports hint at AlpInvest sale
The owners of major private equity player AlpInvest could be looking for a sale, according to reports.
AlpInvest is owned by Dutch pension funds ABP and PGGM. ABP, AlpInvest and Crédit Suisse, which is rumoured to have been mandated for the sale, have all declined to comment.
Founded in 1999, AlpInvest is one of the largest European private equity firms. With more than €40bn under management, it specialises in fund investments, secondary investments, co-investments, and mezzanine transactions.
