Dutch government backs new tech fund-of-funds
The Dutch ministry of economic affairs has confirmed the launch of a €150m fund-of-funds to support the country's technology companies.
Acknowlegding the scarcity of capital in the Netherlands since the onset of the credit crisis, the state-supported fund-of-funds is designed to support the Dutch technology start-up scene.
The fund will be managed by the European Investment Fund (EIF), which also contributed €50m to the vehicle.
