BioGeneration Ventures et al. invest in Arcarios
A pool of investors led by BioGeneration Ventures have provided Dutch biotechnology company Arcarios with a round of seed financing.
The value of the investment has not yet been disclosed. BioGeneration Ventures led the round, and was joined by Crédit Agricole Private Equity, Baekeland, the Erasmus MC Biomedical Fund, the Gemma Frisius Fund, Vinnof, CD3 Leuven and the Tigenix company.
Arcarios focuses on the discovery and development of innovative, disease-modifying products that target bone and joint diseases. Established through a merger of Therosteon B.V. and a spin-off from Tigenix NV, the company employs six people and is based in Rotterdam.
