Axcel sells EskoArtwork for €350m
Axcel has sold its stake in Belgian company EskoArtwork to US-based Danaher Corporation for €350m.
The company specialises in design and pre-production solutions for the packaging industry and generated sales of €184m in 2010. Axcel initially invested in ESKO in 2005 and, as part of its growth strategy, acquired Belgian competitor Artwork Systems in 2007.
The transaction is expected to close during the first half of 2011, following approval by relevant competition authorities.
