CVC appoints Lurvink as partner
CVC Capital Partners has hired Ivo Lurvink as a partner in its Amsterdam office, effective from April 1.
Lurvink will leave his current positions as head of group investments and head of group acquisitions and divestment at ING, which he joined in 2007.
He has held several senior positions during his 25-year career, including time as executive vice-president and head of corporate M&A at electronics manufacturer Philips.
He has also worked at Credit Suisse First Boston's investment banking division in London and Prague, and at Booz Allen & Hamilton early in his career.
Lurvink holds an MBA from Insead, as well as a master's degree in economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
