Sun European Partners acquires majority stake in Prodac
Sun European Partners has acquired a majority stake in Belgian steel stockist-merchant Prodac, for an undisclosed amount.
Plans to drive the company's growth include improvements in sourcing, developing additional sales channels and expanding capabilities downstream to include higher value-add activities.
Founded in 1966, Zwijndrecht-based Prodac is a stockist-merchant focused on secondary and excess steel. It takes physical possession of steel goods before selling to a broad spectrum of manufacturers and distributers. With a 33-strong workforce, Prodac operates out of two custom warehousing facilities in the port of Antwer.
