Crédit Agricole PE backs Ikaros Solar
Crédit Agricole Private Equity (CAPE) has provided Belgian photovoltaic solutions manufacturer Ikaros Solar with growth capital of an undisclosed amount.
The firm invested via the Capenergie 2 fund, an FCPR vehicle currently being raised. CAPE had previous links with Ikaros, having invested in Ikaros Solar Park I in 2010: this industrial holding is designed to invest in a park of solar panels manufactured by Ikaros Solar.
Ikaros Solar was founded in 2006 in Schoten, Belgium. It develops and installs photovoltaic energy generating solutions for corporations and the general public alike.
