MVision boosts real estate team with two new hires
Placement agent MVision has appointed Mitchell B Sikora as managing director and Scott P Arden as director to the firm.
Both will be responsible for overseeing the expansion of MVision's real estate practice, improving its private equity placement capabilities.
Sikora has over 20 years experience in the private placement, investment banking, investment, and real estate professions. Most recently, he was co-founder of JT Partners, an independent, third-party placement firm with a primary focus on real estate funds. Prior to the founding of JT Partners, Sikora led the real estate private equity placement team of UBS and Merrill Lynch before that. Sikora has in excess of $8bn of real estate private equity fundraising experience, representing such firms as Lone Star Funds, The CIM Group, and Apollo Real Estate.
Arden was also most recently at JT Partners where he worked on the placement of real estate funds, primarily on the distribution side. Prior to that, he was responsible for risk management and business development at RBC Carlin. He also served as an equity trader at Carlin Financial and First New York Securities and worked on the Foreign Exchange Institutional Sales desk at Lehman Brothers.
